Short Needle Christmas Trees (click on picture to enlarge)
Fraser Fir 
A beautiful Christmas tree with soft, short needles, 3/8 – 1 ¼” long. Needles have rounded tips and a unique silvery underside. The attractive dark green color and excellent needle retention have made this tree a popular favorite in recent years.


Balsam Fir
Soft, short needles ¾” to 1 ½” long. Good needle retention. A dark-green appearance noted for its pleasing fragrance. The lovely green color and distinct aroma make it one of the most desirable trees.


Canaan Fir
A newer tree in MN, the Canaan Fir (pronounced Ka-na-an) is a cross between the Fraser Fir and Balsam Fir with characteristics from both trees. The dark green color and soft needles have a silvery underside similar to a Fraser Fir. The fragrant, fresh-cut aroma resembles that of the Balsam Fir. Good needle retention. Originally native to the Canaan Valley of West Virginia. 

Korean Fir
As the name indicates, Korean Fir are native to the high mountains of South Korea.
It has thick, glossy, dark bluish-green needles with a silvery white underside that is
strikingly beautiful.  The Korean Fir grow in a naturally pyramidal shape.



Colorado Blue Spruce 
Sharp, prickly needles 1 – 1 ½” in length. Attractive blue color with strong, stiff branches. An excellent choice for heavy ornaments.



White Spruce
Blue-green needles about ½” in length. Stiff, sturdy branches and attractive form. Proper care is required for good needle retention.



Norway Spruce
An old-fashioned looking tree with very short and stiff dark green needles. Sturdy branches are excellent for holding ornaments. Will remain fresh with proper care.
